I like how the upper floors of the buildings express an architectural standard of the past, while the ground floors, with their glass displays and neon lights, speak of the modern era of advertising and commerce. It is like two anachronistic time periods are being merged together seamlessly in the same photograph. Neat effect!

i totally agree with ya there. With the ol' fashioned style merged together with the modern shops on the ground so does it look pretty mixed :V .
